Tara Rullo
Tara Rullo, LCSW, is the founder and clinical director of Middle Way Psychotherapy. She believes that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and experience lasting wellness and joy.
With over twenty years in the mental health field, Tara brings clinical wisdom, warmth, and deep care to her work with individuals and couples. Her therapy style blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices with a holistic, body-centered approach.
Tara is a registered Kundalini yoga teacher and offers yoga-informed somatic therapy, which may include breathwork, body awareness, and gentle movement to help clients connect more deeply with their bodies and emotions.
In her work with couples, Tara draws on Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a research-based model that teaches communication skills and strengthens existing relationship foundations. This approach supports couples in processing conflict, rebuilding closeness, and fostering more meaningful connection.
Tara also integrates tools that connect clients to their intuition and inner wisdom, such as Focusing, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Mindfulness Meditation. For clients working through trauma or unresolved emotional pain, she offers EMDR, a structured and powerful method for processing distressing experiences.
The Goals of Her Practice Are to Help You:
- Deepen self-awareness and self-knowing
- Increase connection with yourself and others
- Heal from painful experiences and memories
